Can you change people?

Written by admin. Posted in Relationships

You are naturally untidy. So untidy that the house gets a flick of a duster once a year and the pots get washed when there are no more pots available. Now oimagine you meet someone with a compulsive need to tidy fold the towels and iron the socks!

Nightmare city beckons because unless you are a liitle kid it’s unlikely you will change and you can hardly expect the other person to change either.

It’s not just the above that should raise concerns because people are hardly likely  to stop being a football nut, irresponsible, shy or a workaholic.

This also applies to the major stuff and in my estimation a person perfect apart from being alchohol dependent, physically abusive or unfaithful is unlikely to change their ways.

True they may supress their tendencies for months or even years but in the end they will revert to type and will ultimately disappoint.
