Dating an emotional wreck? There are many emotional wrecks on the over 40 dating scene due to the age we have reached and the fact we wouldnt be here without life kicking us in the nuts a few times. But how to deal with someone at the end of their emotional tether, always witing for the next kick in the goolies. The answer is to look at how we want to be treated ourselves. Personally, I believe that people need to be trusted and given space to breathe. Also, who are we to judge bearing in mind our own history of mistakes? I may not be religious but “cast not the first stone” comes to mind. I find that the biggest mistake people make on the over 40 dating scene is to be controlling in relationships.
